Leila Yes and with only two weeks to go things are really hotting up. Tim That's true and it's one of the dirtiest election campaigns I can remember. Leila I have to agree with you. Both campaign teams have been spreading nasty rumors and even lies about the opposing candidate. Tim Their television advertising has also been very negative, attacking the opponent's character and record. Leila It's not really much of a recommendation for democracy. Explanation : Hot up - When something hots up, a lot of activity and excitement starts to happen. Example : Campaigning is expected to start hotting up today.
