Youngest Record Breaker: Tathagat Avatar Tulsi is the youngest PhD holder in the world. At the age of just 21, he obtained his PhD. He was born on Wednesday, September 09, 1987 (in the 20th Century (1901-2000) in Patna, the capital of the Indian state of Bihar and the second largest city in Eastern India (in terms of population), he is now 24 year-old. He obtained PhD in August, 2009 (in the 21st Century (2001-2100).

Tathagat Avatar Tulsi is now working as Assistant Professor of Physics at IIT Bombay. He did his high school at the age of 9, B.Sc at 11 (in 1998) (from Patna university) and M.Sc (in 1999) (from Patna university) at 12. He lives in Mumbai (Bombai), India. He obtained Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. His Thesis Title is Generalizations of the Quantum Search Algorithm.
